transforming your career. Undergrad Intern - Automation Engineer,
Drug Product Assembly & Packaging (Summer 2025) This could be your
everyday Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this
undergraduate internship, you will work as an Automation Engineer
in Drug Product Assembly & Packaging (DPA&P) within the
Manufacturing Clinical Supply Organization. This team is
responsible for supplying Amgens portfolio of clinical trials
currently underway, globally. The intern will be responsible for an
improvement project and exposed to a dynamic clinical manufacturing
environment. Project may include: Working closely across multiple
subject areas, including device build, label & pack, new product
introduction and line owners to execute a diverse portfolio of
projects Execute problem solving, root cause analysis and data
visualization Leveraging standard automation technical principles
to devise new solutions Identifying opportunities to optimize
workflows and protocols to increase throughput on the packaging
lines Evaluate procedural improvement opportunities Conduct
function testing, including writing protocol and reports Heres what

Basic Qualifications Amgen requires that all individuals applying
for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must
meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Currently enrolled
in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college
or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent Completion of
one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to
the internship commencing Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree
program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with
an accredited college or university Must not be employed at the
time the internship starts Student must be located in the United
States for the duration of the internship OR co-op Preferred
Qualifications Degree concentration(s) in Engineering or Life
Sciences Previous experience in biology lab. Prior work or
volunteering experience. Ability to work effectively in cross
functional teams Familiarity with Microsoft Office and
collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet,
Tableau) Good communication skills and writing skills Analytical
thinking Can do attitude. Pro-activeness. Project Management
