Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director, Data & Privacy Legal.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with leadership and teams to implement data regulations
for the Americas and EMEA
Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance program for
applicable data rules
Provide privacy counseling to Product teams and coordinate
international data flows
Required Qualifications:
J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at
least one US state bar
12 years of experience in an in-house legal department and/or law
firm related to financial services and technology
Experience managing and growing a team of lawyers
Extensive general privacy experience with knowledge of US/EU data
laws
Familiarity with major privacy regimes such as GDPR, CCPA, PDPA,
and PIPEDA
