What You ll Do

• Attend deliveries and provide OB emergency coverage during in-house shifts
• Provide OB triage, patient evaluation, and ongoing management in the hospital setting
• Perform fetal monitoring and manage obstetric patient care as needed
• Provide surgical assistance when required during labor/delivery and obstetric procedures
• Support care transitions for patients presenting for unassigned obstetric needs
• Provide OB triage and coverage in the main ER when unassigned OB patients present
• Assist with patient evaluation and management consistent with OB Hospitalist responsibilities

What You Need
Required

• MD/DO (OB/GYN)
• California medical licensure
• Board certification (AOBOG/ABOG required per role expectations)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS
• Experience in OB hospitalist-style coverage (years not specified)

Preferred

• Experience working in hospital-based OB coverage models with triage and emergency response
• Comfort with in-house 24-hour shift coverage

About the Assignment
You ll be supporting OB Hospitalist coverage at a leading facility in Palm Springs, California, providing in-house care across 24-hour shifts. The role supports a community hospital setting with a Level III NICU, and affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology support.
