Marina del Rey Hospital! What will you be doing: The Nursing
Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living,
provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists
in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions
and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team
and/or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living such
as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit.
Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill
patients. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse
in charge of the team and/or unit. Answers phones and call lights.
Ensures unit is stocked with supplies. Assists patient transporter
as needed. Other duties as assigned. Shift = Nights, 7pm to 730am
Qualifications Experience Requirements: Minimum 6-months to 1-year
of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years
preferred. Required to have experience in acute care setting.
Educational/Certification Requirements: High School Diploma/GED.
Current BLS required. (BCLS certification preferred). Certified
