Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Care of ventilated
patients - Continuous IV sedation - ICP monitoring - Interpretation
and management of dysrhythmias - Procedural sedation administration
and monitoring - Starting and maintaining IVs Description: The
primary role is to provide care in an intensive care setting. The
nurse will be responsible for managing ventilated patients and
administering continuous IV sedation. Monitoring intracranial
pressure and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential to the role.
The nurse will perform procedural sedation administration and
monitoring as needed. Starting and maintaining IVs will also be a
critical function of this position. The role requires the ability
to float between various ICUs and telemetry units based on patient
needs. The facility specializes in Stroke/Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma,
and General diagnoses. Nurses should be well-versed in multiple
specialty areas to provide comprehensive care. Weekend shifts are
required, and up to five days of requested time off will be
accommodated. The position does not require on-call duties.
Candidates will be expected to work as part of a team within the
interdisciplinary unit. The anticipated patient-to-nurse ratio will
be managed according to facility standards. Travelers will be
floated based on necessity, ensuring optimal staffing levels across
