is currently seeking a Missile Systems Engineer Level 1 or 2 with
an active Security Clearance or ability to obtain . The selected
candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our
facility in Northridge, CA. The ideal candidate will have
experience in the full systems engineering lifecycle of missile /
weapon system development program(s) and leading at least part of
that lifecycle. They will also have the technical depth on one or
more of the subsystems of missile/weapon system, e.g., RF/sensors,
guidance, navigation, control, telemetry/communication, and
airframe. This candidate will work directly with the program’s IPT
leadership and Program Execution Manager and collaborate with the
various IPTs to ensure the design and development of the different
subsystems and the integration of those are technically sound on
budget, and on schedule. Responsibilities: In this role, the
selected candidate will (but not be limited to): Support system
requirements development, management, analysis, and traceability,
to translate customer requirements and CONOPS into systems
requirements, and further allocate to lower-level requirements.
Perform functional analysis and systems trade studies for technical
solutions with respect to concept, design, fabrication, test,
installation, operation, and maintenance. Assist with the
generation of well-defined and executable system and subsystem
requirements documents, interface documents, and test and
verification documents. Support system/subsystems integration,
test, and requirements verification activities. Support systems
engineering metrics and technical performance measurement tracking.
Support the preparation of system engineering materials during
System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary
Design Review, Critical Design Review, System Verification Review,
Test Readiness Review, and other program reviews as needed.
Interface with inter-organizational management and external
Customer to communicate technical briefing and program status.
Support Program Management activities to ensure cost and schedule
objectives are met; support program status efforts including Earned
Value Management System (EVMS) tracking and Control Account
Management (CAM) activities. Support the management of critical
subcontractors developing and testing tactical missile technologies
and delivery of quality products. Basic qualifications for a
Systems Engineer level (T01) are: BS degree with 0 years of
experience. Must have proven experience in communicating with peers
in a methodical, detailed and process-oriented fashion. Must have
demonstrated experience in providing solutions to a variety of
technical problems under general supervision. Ability to obtain and
maintain DoD Secret Clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP
Basic qualifications for a Systems Engineer level (T02) are:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of
two ( 2 ) years of systems engineering experience with any exposure
to requirements development and requirements verification
activities. Must have proven experience in communicating with peers
in a methodical, detailed and process-oriented fashion. Must have
demonstrated experience in providing solutions to a variety of
technical problems under general supervision. Active DoD Secret
Clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP. Preferred
Qualifications: Experience with Systems Engineering tools, such as
DOORS, CAMEO, Rhapsody. Experience in Model-Based Systems
Engineering approach. Experience working in the defense industry or

- Northrop Grumman Primary Level Salary Range: $76,200.00 -
$114,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
