Our client, a leader in industrial automation and process control, is seeking a Valve Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Valve Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Valve Automation Engineer Location: Irwindale, California Pay Range: Up to $120,000 What's the Job? Interpret design concepts by reviewing and analyzing valve automation ideas to develop practical engineering solutions for seamless integration. Engineer valve-to-actuator assemblies by designing and validating mechanical and control interfaces to ensure performance and reliability. Manage configuration systems by maintaining and optimizing tools and databases to support accurate product selection and customization. Develop technical documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions for manufacturing and field installation. Collaborate across teams such as product management, operations, and supply chain to ensure the successful execution of engineered solutions. Drive innovation by developing new valve automation products and enhancing existing designs to meet evolving industry standards. Ensure compliance and quality by adhering to industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality requirements throughout the engineering process. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Experience in valve automation, process control, or related engineering fields. Familiarity with industrial valves such as ball, butterfly, globe, and actuators including electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic types. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks, along with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
