Job Description:
A company is looking for a Collections - Collector 2 to manage
delinquent accounts and ensure timely collections.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews and performs collection actions on various delinquent
accounts while adhering to policies and applicable laws
Conducts address verification, asset searches, and credit report
reviews prior to recommending legal actions
Assists with loan modifications and supports training of new
department personnel
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of collection experience with real estate and
secured/unsecured loans
Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws, foreclosures, and the Fair
Debt Collection Practice Act
Experience with loan modification processes and collateral
liquidation
Two-year college degree or equivalent related experience or
specialized course of study
